Ed's Price Action EA, however, is not good for back testing as back testing does not reflect the best performance of Ed's Price Action EA which has the option of utilizing a news filter and auto GMT which only work in forward testing on live or demo accounts. I back tested Ed's Candle Pattern EA, Ed's MACD Divergence EA, Ed's Stochastics SMA EA, and Ed's Trend Trading EA with 99% modelling quality to get the most accurate back test results you can get. To get 99% modelling quality results in the back tests I use special tick data software which utilizes tick data from Dukascopy and integrates it into MT4 (also deducts the spread from each trade in the back tests results), so you are getting back test results which are more accurate than the regular 25% - 90% MT4 modelling quality back test results. A lot has happened in the Forex market in 2011 so I thought is a sufficient year to utilize for finding defauting settings for current market conditions. Some of the EA's may perform better when used on a combination of currency pairs instead of on one currency pair. For this reason back testing (which can only test the EA on one currency pair at a time) may not reflect the best results an EA has to offer.
